What I Really Think About Wild Refillable Deodorant
There is no shortage of products that promise to be clean, natural, or sustainable. But I wanted to see if Wild refillable deodorant was more than just good intentions in pretty packaging. This is my honest take on what it is like to use, refill, and actually live with it.
Not Just Deodorant – A Little Rebellion
You know what is quite funny? We act as if we do not care. As if the bright plastic tubes lining our bathroom shelves are perfectly fine because it is just deodorant.
But then something like this appears, Wild’s refillable case in a floral Cath Kidston print and suddenly you realise that perhaps you do care.
Perhaps you are tired of buying cheap things you never respect. Perhaps you want the items you touch every single day to feel worth it.
I am not vegan. I am not a zero waste influencer with a perfectly organised pantry full of glass jars. I am simply someone who grew up as part of Gen X, a generation that never minded being a bit of a rebel.
So yes, I bought the beautiful deodorant. Not because I am trying to save the world (although it would not hurt), but because I wanted one small act of rebellion against unattractive design and throwaway culture.
And to be honest, it feels good. And it actually works, which is more than I can say for a lot of the natural options I have tried over the years.
